
Saturday super sets – finishing leg training with chain lunges + hex bar shrugs. I like switching things up and challenging myself with exercises that don’t typically go together but still very taxing and kicks my ass.
For lunges I’m constantly tweaking my form based on all my injuries I’ve learned to work around (torn quad + adductor off my pelvis, torn abdominal wall etc) to get best activation out of the movement.
For shrugs, I always control the weight and hold at the top for 2+ seconds. Intensifies the activation, grip strength/ trap growth etc.
